In this MIPLA "Meet the Board" feature, we highlight Stephanie Kwong. Stephanie has served over 6 years on the MIPLA board and is this term's president. She's currently working as Senior IP Counsel at Abbott Laboratories. Prior to moving in-house, she worked as outside counsel, focusing on patent and trademark prosecution in the areas of mechanical and medical devices. She plans to co-host the annual MIPLA Bowl Trivia contest for as long as the organization will let her. As for personal interests, much of her free time is spent planning for and tending to her expansive rock garden in which includes over 70 varieties of xeric plants including 4 varieties of perennial cactus.
