New Date - MIPLA Members Moonlit Snowshoe & Bonfire at Theodore Wirth Regional Park - Chalet Parking Lot

IMPORTANT UPDATE - February 11, 2021 - the event originally scheduled for February 12th has been rescheduled to February 19th due to the predicted dangerous cold.

Here's your chance to experience the serenity of winter in a whole new way! If you've never snowshoed (especially at night), you're in for a treat. REI expert guides will lead us on snow-covered trails blanketed by the glow of the moon. Along with a few snowshoe tips and techniques, they'll also provide snowshoes, poles, gaiters, headlamps, warm beverages, s’mores and a crackling bonfire to warm up around. Appropriate masks/facial coverings will be required. The fitness level associated with this event is “moderate”.

These events are free for MIPLA members. Space is limited and members are limited to one session registration.

Please commit to attending if you register as we cannot make changes to the registered group less than 72 hours in advance of the event.

• Friday, February 26, 6-8:30pm, Lebanon Hills Regional Park - Jenson Lake Trailhead
