The second annual MIPLA Bowl IP trivia event was held Wednesday, January 17th at Rock Bottom Brewery. It was a smashing success, and it was even overheard that people were more excited to attend the MIPLA Bowl than the Super Bowl this year. The competition was fierce – there were teams in matching shirts and a tie for first place. The team fielded by Patterson Thuente walked away victorious after being the first to identify the cartoon character whose father is a patent attorney (Calvin, of course). They were rewarded with Love Your Melon hats to keep those big brains warm and the trophy for prominent display at their firm. Special thanks go to Stephanie Kwong for revitalizing this event and to our favorite emcee, Phil Goldman, the man with all the answers.
