    A great time was had by all at the 2018 MIPLA Holiday Happy Hour.

    We’re pleased to report that $1,375 (including a donation from MIPLA) was raised on behalf of the Volunteer Lawyers Network.

    All MIPLA members are encouraged to attend our fall social at Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge in Northeast Minneapolis. The weather’s cooling off but that doesn’t mean we can’t pretend to be in a Polynesian paradise with the assistance of a few tiki drinks in the “Shangri-La Lounge”.

                         2018 MIPLA Stampede

    The 2018 MIPLA Stampede was held on May 10, 2018.  The event was a success; thank you to those who presented and to those who attended the event!

    The 2018 MWL Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis (1300 Nicollet Mall) and will feature a full day of CLE programming, geared towards the diverse practice areas and experience levels represented by MWL’s membership. 

    MWL is honored to welcome morning keynote speaker Michele Coleman Mayes, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for the New York Public Library and past Chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession from 2014-2017.  The 2018 MWL Conference will also incorporate MWL’s 46th Annual Meeting as a luncheon program.  To conclude the day MWL is pleased to present an interactive workshop led by Toni Halleen, COO and Co-Owner of Schaefer Halleen, entitled: “Say Yes to Diversity! What Improv can Teach Us About Embracing the ‘Big Tent’”.
