All materials posted on this site are subject to copyrights owned by the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA) and other individuals or entities. Any reproduction, retransmission, or republication of all or part of any document found on this site is expressly prohibited, unless MIPLA or the applicable copyright owner of the material has expressly granted its prior written consent for such reproduction, retransmission, or republication the material. All other rights are reserved.

The names, trademarks, service marks and logos of MIPLA appearing on this site may not be used in any advertising or publicity, or otherwise to indicate sponsorship of or affiliation with any product or service by MIPLA, without the prior express written permission of the then-current officers or directors of MIPLA.

MIPLA makes no guarantees or warranties as to the accuracy or completeness of, or results to be obtained from accessing and using the MIPLA website. The terms of use of those websites, and not the MIPLA Terms and Conditions of Use, govern your use of that material.

Notice for Claims of Intellectual Property Violations and Agent for Notice
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide MIPLA's Copyright Agent with the following information:

  1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
  3. a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the MIPLA website, with enough detail that we may find it on the website;
  4. your address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner's behalf.
